Serbian President Aleksandar Vucic has reiterated that he will not allow a transitional government to be formed, adding that the only way for that to happen is for the Serbian Progressive Party and its leader Milos Vucevic to bypass him and form a majority in parliament.
"There is one way, for (outgoing prime minister) Milos Vucevic as the party president to come to me and say that they have a majority. I ask him what the concept is, he says he wants an interim government. I tell him I won't let that happen, and he says he'll bypass me and go to the parliament and form a majority without me," Vucevic told Insajder TV.
He also said the president of the Republic appointed a prime minister-designate and that he would not pick a prime minister-designate who wanted to form a transitional government.
"I won't have it. I don't want a cheating, thieving government, I don't want to destroy Serbia," said Vucic.
