There will be no revolutionary or transitional government following the resignation of prime minister Milos Vucevic, Interior Minister Ivica Dacic, who is also the leader of the ruling Socialist Party of Serbia, said on Feb. 3.
Speaking for Prva TV, Dacic stated that a Cabinet must be elected and that he does not see who would choose such a “revolutionary or interim government.”
“A Cabinet cannot not be elected or, quote-unquote, chosen by a plenum,” Dacic said, adding that a new Cabinet can be formed from the existing parliamentary majority or that a snap election can be called.
