The U.N. Development Program (UNDP) in Serbia called on Oct. 26 on organizations and institutions to submit their innovative business solutions for green transition.

The organization's invitation applies to public and private companies, research institutions, civil society organizations, agricultural organizations, collectives, farms, local self-administrations and managers of protected areas.

The ideas can be in the areas of the Green Agenda for the Western Balkans - decarbonization (lowering the emissions of greenhouse gasses), lowering environmental pollution with a focus on clean air, the protection and preservation of nature and biological diversity and establishing sustainable systems for providing food and rural development.

The public call for innovative solutions for green transition was issued as part of the EU for the Green Agency in Serbia project, which is being conducted with the technical and financial support of the EU in partnership with the Ministry of Environmental Protection, in association with the UNDP and the Swedish Embassy and European Investment Bank, with additional funding by the Swedish, Swiss and Serbian governments.
