The president of the Serbian Progressive Party, Milos Vucevic, said in a Dec. 6 interview with the Happy TV that a series of attacks against the Serbian president, Aleksandar Vucic, and the alignment by part of the opposition with Kosovo Prime Minister Albin Kurti’s policy had caused resistance among Serbian citizens, adding that he was confident the Progressives would win the coming election in December.

Vucevic said it’s interesting to see that those who had accused Vucic that he would betray and surrender Kosovo were crossing into Kosovo without any problems, while Vucic could not. “They do not mind that the people in Kosovo are unable to vote. Only President Vucic talks about it,” Vucevic said.

The Progressive leader said that the opposition politics was absolutely confusing, as the opposition involved left- and right-wing politicians alike, and the citizens were unable to tell how they would handle the most pressing issues, including Kosovo, Serbia’s EU accession, etc. “The only thing that keeps them together, which is also their chief platform, is hatred to President Vucic,” Vucevic said in the interview.
