The deputy president of the Freedom and Justice Party, Borko Stefanovic, stated on June 6 that the European Parliament’s rapporteur for Serbia, Vladimir Bilcik, was “going into retirement” and assessed that his mandate had abounded in the relativization of the situation in Serbia and in support of the ruling regime of the Serbian Progressive Party.
He assessed that Bilcik was incorrect in claiming that the political situation in Serbia was better and more peaceful than before. “He even cynically said that he felt sorry for the opposition who did not take part in the fake elections in Belgrade on June 2. Do not feel sorry for us. We have not consented to the election rigging by your friends in the Progressive Party. You might want, if you ever have an attack of guilty conscience, to feel sorry for yourself because you constantly supported the organized crime regime, which is completely anti-European on top of it all,” Stefanovic stated.
In his words, the Progressive Party and Vucic do not want Serbia in the EU. “I am certain that he (Bilcik) does not feel sorry for the citizens of Serbia, to the harassment of whom, mass buying of votes, persecution and blackmail by the regime he had been turning a blind eye for years. What will live here forever, though, after we win our freedom and normality, will be the shameful memory of your mission,” Stefanovic concluded.
