The opposition Green-Left Front is preparing a platform for negotiations with representatives of the Guardians of Stari Grad ticket on forming a new government in Belgrade's central municipality, but an agreement with the ticket remains uncertain, Green-Left Front ticket leader Radomir Lazovic said on June 7.

Lazovic told daily Danas that negotiations with the leader of the Guardians of Stari Grad ticket, Marko Bastac, had begun, but that it was still too early to talk about the outcome of those talks.

According to the preliminary election results, the We Choose Stari Grad opposition ticket, spearheaded by the Green-Left Front, has won 23 seats in the municipal assembly, the ticket rallied around the Serbian Progressive Party - 21, Guardians of Stari Grad - 10, The People's Ticket - one seat, and For a Green Stari Grad Dr. Dejan Zujovic - one seat.
