The political leaderships of Serbia and Republika Srpska, gathered at an All-Serb Assembly in Belgrade on June 8, issued a Declaration on the protection of the national and political rights and shared future of the Serb people, which states that "Kosovo and Metohija is an inalienable part of Serbia" and condemns "any violation of the Dayton Peace Accords" for Bosnia and Herzegovina.

The Declaration, which will be submitted for adoption by the parliaments of Serbia and Republika Srpska, also states that "the state agencies of the Serb people should offer neighboring peoples an agreement on historic reconciliation, lasting peace and development.

"The All-Serb Assembly supports the efforts of the Republic of Serbia to preserve its territorial integrity and sovereignty, guaranteed by international law, Resolution 1244 and other resolutions of the U.N. Security Council, and the right and duty of the Republic of Serbia to address the survival of the Serb people in Kosovo and Metohija," reads one of the Declaration's almost 50 points.

The document also states no "support for the Srebrenica Resolution, which received the votes of 84 states before the U.N. General Assembly, while 109 were against, abstained or did not vote," noting that it was "an unacceptable and unimplementable attempt to blame the entire Serb people collectively." The document further states that the Dayton Peace Accords has been "permanently and significantly violated despite the desires of Republika Srpska and the Serb constituent people, which fought to preserve the Dayton constitutional framework in [Bosnia and Herzegovina]" and "urges all international stakeholders to go back to following the letter of the Dayton Peace Accords."
