Serbian Parliament Speaker Claims President Vucic’s Life Is under Threat

The public was not aware of the danger looming over the life of Serbian President Aleksandar Vucic, because he was “the only shield against the mafia”, Parliament speaker Ana Brnabić said on June 17.

Commenting on the published alleged correspondence among the members of Montenegro’s criminal Kavac clan, which speaks ill of Vucic, Brnabić told TV Happy that the president’s life would remain under threat as long as clan boss Radoje Zvicer was at large.

She added that Vucic was the shield against organized crime taking over Serbia and the region, and also a guarantor of security.
