New Face of Serbia party president Milos Parandilovic said on June 17 that he supported the proposal of some leaders of the We Choose to Fight coalition to continue the opposition's political action through forming groups according to platform.

Parandilovic told BETA that his party was a "moderate center right" party and would "try" to establish a right-wing alliance with Miroslav Aleksic's People's Movement of Serbia that would be both civic and nationalist.

"The results of the We Choose to Fight coalition showed that it was worthwhile to run in the local elections. We are still having presidency sessions, there is no bad blood between us, but there are proposals from our counterparts on the left for platform-based affiliations, which I absolutely support," he said.

According to him, there are estimates that platform-based affiliations in the opposition would result in a higher number of seats in the next election.

"Serbia needs a healthy, nationalist right whose measure won't be the number of enemies in the world, but one that will show patriotism to its country and people and be ready to work together with everyone. The European Union was founded by right-wingers headed by Charles de Gaulle and Konrad Adenauer," Parandilovic said.
