Serbian Minister for European Integration Tanja Miscevic stated on June 26 that work on the Reform Agenda, which is nearing completion, would enable the use of assets from the EU’s Western Balkans Reform and Growth Instrument for the period until 2027.
“After ratification, the Reform Agenda will enable our country to use assets from the EU’s Western Balkans Reform and Growth Instrument for the period until 2027,” Miscevic said during a conversation with the speaker of the Vojvodina Assembly, Balint Juhas, it was announced by the Assembly speaker’s office.
Juhas said that the province’s institutions were ready to do everything necessary for the process of European integration to be speeded up, and to participate “in maximum capacity” in supporting the EU’s and cross-border projects of local self-government units and the civil society. Juhas and Miscevic also discussed the significance of the fact that Hungary would take the presidency of the Council of the EU in a few days, and assessed that this country’s “friendly and partner support” to Serbia would certainly contribute to accelerating the possible available steps on our path to the EU.
