Kosovo today is isolated and has not been in a more unfavorable position in relation to international partners since declaring independence, the heads of opposition caucuses in the Kosovo Assembly said on Sept. 9.
Democratic Party of Kosovo whip Abelard Tahiri said after a session of the Kosovo Assembly Presidency that the conduct of Premier Albin Kurti's government toward international partners had not been fair, which is why Kosovo is now "isolated and blocked."
Alliance for the Future of Kosovo whip Besnik Tahiri said Kosovo had not been "weaker than today" since declaring independence in 2008, while Democratic Alliance of Kosovo whip Arben Gashi called Kurti's cabinet the weakest in the history of Kosovo when it came to decision-making and "institutional representation."
Gashi said institutions were hijacked and the Assembly barred from parliamentary oversight, as all parliamentary pillars have been taken out of commission as a result of the domination of the Self-Determination movement.
