A new round of dialogue between Belgrade and Pristina at the level of chief negotiators Petar Petkovic and Besnik Bislimi is taking place in Brussels on Sept. 17.The meeting in Brussels will focus on progress in the implementation of the Ohrid Agreement and other issues affecting the normalization of relations between Belgrade and Pristina, EU spokesman Peter Stano has said.
According to information from diplomatic sources, among the topics Belgrade proposed for discussion is the question of the bridge on the Ibar River, as well as the forming of an Association/Community of Serb-Majority Municipalities.
A former minister for Kosovo and Metohija, Goran Bogdanovic, said that the measures Serbian President Aleksandar Vucic had recently presented for solving the Kosovo problem were only a wishlist, because Serbia had no way of carrying them out.
"Those are not measures because none of that depends on Belgrade, rather it is a request for Pristina and the international community," Bogdanovic told the Nova newspaper.
