Serbian President Aleksandar Vucic stated on Nov. 21 that Serbia would do everything to attract Slovak enterprises to the Serbian market.
“We have significant methods of subsidizing those who invest in employment, those who open a company in our country,” Vucic stated at the Serbia-Slovakia Business Forum in Belgrade, organized within the visit of Prime Minister of Slovakia Robert Fico. He said that the opening a direct air connection between Belgrade and Kosice in Slovakia was being planned and that flights to Bratislava might also start by the end of next year.
Fico said that Slovakia’s policy was “oriented toward all four corners of the world.” “I refuse to close the Slovak government down into EU territory only; we have clearly declared that we wish to follow a sovereign policy, oriented toward all four corners of the world; we wish to cooperate with anyone who has interest in participating in good and friendly relations, as well as economic ones,” Fico stated.
