The first step for coming out of the political crisis in Serbia is the meeting of student demands, followed by the forming of a transitional government, Green-Left Front co-president Radomir Lazovic said on March 7.

He told the Nova newspaper that a reshuffled cabinet of the current ruling coalition could not be the solution, nor could, as he put it, fraudulent snap elections because no one would agree to them.

The government, Lazovic said, would have a fixed-term mandate to stop pressure on the judiciary, liberate the media, and create conditions for the holding of free elections.
