Leader of the Get Going for Change movement Savo Manojlovic said on April 10 that the objective of student protests was the fulfillment of their demands not political articulation.
"Every time when the energy of protests is launched by someone who is not part of the established political division, the story of 'political articulation' starts, if the protests have raised energy we do not need a pacification of the protests, but radicalization," Manojlovic was quoted by the movement as saying on Instagram.
Commenting on calls for the creation of joint opposition tickets, Manojlovic said that this could threaten the unique and authentic energy of the protests. "The transition to a normal country needs to be established by a government of experts proposed by university working groups, verified by plenums, and then voted in by parliament," he said.
He said that legitimacy was currently on the side of students and that it was wrong to impose additional objectives or political demands on them. "The winning way is concentrated blockades. The meeting of the demands or the collapse of the regime only then followed by a provisional government of experts. The government proposed by plenums and then legally voted in by parliament. Without the government and opposition," Manojlovic said.
