Movement of Free Citizens PSG
The Movement of Free Citizens believes that it was important to form a unified social front to act toward a common goal – for this regime to go, an MP of the Movement, Vladimir Pajic, stated on July 3.
“While we have alarming repression in the streets, while the regime arrests and beats children and young people, we cannot remain silent and we must work on forming a front that will fight against this. On the invitation of the students, we decided to abandon activities in the parliament and we expect the next step to be a discussion about joint action,” Pajic told TV Nova S on July 3.
He assessed that the regime was expected to “become increasingly repressive in the terminal phase” and that this was why it was important to transfer communication from the streets to the political plane and coordinate all the social groups and rebelling citizens with the aim of “joint action against the criminal regime.”
“We have ahead of us a great historic responsibility, we must be worthy of the situation in which we find ourselves and, together with the citizens, find a model as MPs for a comprehensive change of the society, and not just a victory in the elections,” Pajic said. He further stated that the students had spoken – “everybody to the streets” – and called on the society to demonstrate unity, and added that their cooperation in the streets had been good in the recent months.
