Higher Public Prosecutor's Office in Belgrade (BETAPHOTO/Ana Slovic)
Ksenija Maric – a judge of Belgrade’s Higher Court who released 12 university students accused by the Belgrade Prosecutor’s Office of attacking members of the Interior Ministry and attempting to violently topple the constitutional order – has received death threats.
According to the July 8 edition of the Danas daily, Maric reported the threats to the Department for Cybercrime, which is now working on the case.
Maric received the threats via social media, in the wake of pro-regime tabloids Kurir and Informer publicly accusing her of supporting the “blockaders and open violence against police.”
