New Democratic Party of Serbia presidency member Milos Stankovic said that the principles for the party to participate in any possible coalition were that the coalition partners "commit to toppling the Aleksandar Vucic regime and their attitude toward the EU."

As for the EU, Stankovic said during a show called Uncensored on KTV that the party was explicitly against integration as it would harm national interests, but that it favored all forms of cooperation with official Brussels if it benefited Serbia, the party said on Sept. 18.

Commenting on the situation in Serbia, he said that not only had the Serbian Progressive Party's reign been exposed but "violence, hatred, clashes and revenge," adding that country was witnessing "the pinnacle of dishonor which no one normal who unless they are blackmailed by something could support."

He pledged that after political change "every abuse of state office or job must be punished" and that this was not revolutionary justice but establishing responsibility and rule of law.
