Oleksandr Lytvynenko Appointed Ukraine's New Ambassador to Serbia

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky has appointed Oleksandr Lytvynenko as country’s new ambassador to Serbia, it has been published on the president’s website. 

In another presidential decree from Nov. 27, Zelensky dismissed Volodymyr Tolkach from his post as Ukraine’s ambassador to Serbia.

Oleksandr Lytvynenko served as secretary of Ukraine’s National Security and Defense Council until July this year, as well as the coordinator of the Staff of the Supreme Commander-in-Chief. 

His earlier posts include the head of the Foreign Intelligence Service of Ukraine, a member of the National Security and Defense Council, and the director of the National Institute for Strategic Studies.
