Marinika Tepic (BETAPHOTO/MILOS MISKOV)
Freedom and Justice Party Vice-President Marinika Tepic on Feb. 18 filed a criminal complaint to the Supreme Public Prosecutor's Office against Serbian Progressive Party leader Milos Vucevic, on suspicion that he, while performing the office of prime minister, committed abuse of office when he traveled to Greece on vacation with friends on a government airplane in August 2024, whereas their families arrived there on a private jet, on which a one-way flight costs 30,000 euros.
Addressing reporters outside the seat of the prosecutor's office, Tepic showed what she said to be a photocopy of a return ticket containing the names of the Vucevic family members, as well as the members of his fellow travelers' families, and asked that the competent prosecution and prosecutor be assigned the case. She added that the current conflict between Prosecutor General Zagorka Dolovac and the authorities gave some hope that an investigation would be launched.
"I have appealed to prosecutors' offices many times - filed a number of criminal complaints and they turned out to be correct - wake up, don't be opossums," said Tepic.
Speaking about the airplane that carried the families of Vucevic and his friends to Greece, she said that it had been rented from a company co-owned by businessman Veselin Jevrosimovic, whose other company she said had landed jobs for the state worth more than 60 million euros during the 11 months that Vucevic was prime minister.
