"We welcome the opportunity for Serbian and Allied military personnel to train together in Serbia this May. The exercise will take place at Serbia’s Borovac Training Area, which the Serbian Armed Forces use extensively to prepare units for international missions, including United Nations peacekeeping operations. This activity will be conducted at Serbia’s invitation and in full respect of its stated policy of military neutrality," the NATO Allied Joint Force Command said in the post.
Adm. George Wyckoff, Allied Joint Force commander, visited Belgrade on March 6 where he met with Serbian President Aleksandar Vucic. Vucic posted on the Instagram social media platform that he and Wyckoff had "an important meeting" on strengthening cooperation with the NATO alliance while preserving Serbia's military neutrality.
