European Union High Representative for Foreign and Security Policy Kaja Kallas has thanked "everyone who engaged constructively" in achieving an agreement on registration and the Law on foreigners, which she described as an "important step forward for the benefit of all people in Kosovo."
"It is essential to ensure continuity in delivery of public services," Kallas said in a social media post. She said, "this progress creates new momentum" for the Belgrade-Pristina dialogue and voiced a readiness to host a high-level meeting soon.
"Thank you to everyone who engaged constructively to make this possible. Going forward, implementing past agreements remains vital," Kallas said.
