In Croatia, 2,378 new cases of the coronavirus infection were confirmed in the past 24 hours, while 23 people died, which is the highest number to-date, the National Civil Defense Headquarters announced on Oct. 28.

A record-high number of 2,605 new cases were registered in Slovenia in the past 24 hours among the 7,471 tested samples; seven people died in hospitals, while data from the care homes for the elderly is not yet available, the government's spokesman for covid-19, Jelko Kacin, announced on Oct. 28.

In Bosnia and Herzegovina, 36 people died and 1,586 new cases of the infection were registered in the past 24 hours.
