In January–September 2020, the number of tourists in North Macedonia decreased by 60.4%.
The country welcomed 83.8% fewer foreign guests compared to the same period of 2019, while the number of domestic tourists fell by 20.7%, website Kapital reports.
According to the national statistical authority, the number of overnight stays in the observed period dropped 46.3% - 14.1% for domestic and 84% for foreign tourists.
