Prime Minister: 2024 Budget Bill to Be Passed before Dissolution of Parliament

Serbia’s 2024 budget will be adopted before the Parliament of Serbia is dissolved due to early parliamentary elections, Prime Minister Ana Brnabic said on Sept. 29.

“The budget bill is ready, and it will reach the Parliament in early October,” Brnabic said to reporters, adding that the new budget provided for an additional pension and pay increase in the public sector, as well as an increased minimum wage.

“We are fulfilling everything that the government has promised,” Brnabic said.
