In March of this year, Serbia’s flag carrier Air Serbia transported over 270,000 passengers, which marks a 15-percent increase compared to the same month in 2023, the company has reported.
Air Serbia completed a total of 3,018 flights in March – eight percent more than last year and the most since the company was rebranded under its current name, in March 2013.
“The first quarter [of 2024] was successful for Air Serbia. During the [year’s] first three months, we transported over 750,000 passengers, which is 110,000 thousand passengers more than during the same quarter of last year. In addition, we completed 16 percent more flights than in the first three months of 2023,” said Jiri Marek, the flag carrier’s CEO.
