The finale of the campaign for regular parliamentary and local elections scheduled for June 21 is marked by tension and confusion, despite the fact that it is quite clear that the current ruling bloc, spearheaded by the Serbian Progressive Party and the Socialist Party of Serbia, will score a convincing victory. Besides to the two parties, pollsters continue to give the most chances of winning seats in the parliament to the head of Belgrade’s New Belgrade municipality, Aleksandar Sapic, and his Serbian Patriotic Alliance. A good outlook is also forecast for Vojislav Seselj’s Serbian Radical Party and Sergej Trifunovic’s Movement of Free Citizens.
