The Water Management Institute “Jaroslav Cerni” is the leading research organization in the water industry, with not only national, but good regional reputation, too. The institute offers research, design, engineering and consulting services by a highly-educated staff of 235, including 17 Ph.D. holders and 13 masters of science. The Government of Serbia, which owned a 92-percent stake in the institute, recently sold it to a consortium of the Millennium Team and Cerni’s seven directors.
