Since the onset of the Russian invasion into Ukraine, there have been anti-war protests supporting Ukraine in Serbia, but also rightist demonstrations in which the participants vocally supported Russian President Vladimir Putin and opposed introducing sanctions against Moscow. The Russian invasion has also given rise to a wave of rightist threats against Serbian citizens who condemn the war and criticize Putin’s regime.
