A Manifestation of Military, but Also Personal Power

The first military parade in Serbia in 11 years, held in Belgrade on Sept. 20, can be positively rated only where the strictly military aspect is concerned – the equipment that was showcased. The other aspects of the parade, titled “The Power of Unity,” namely the political, social and diplomatic ones, have already been criticized by a portion of the public, primarily with regard to the motives and goals of the regime led by Aleksandar Vucic and the subtle messages it sent with that ceremony.
