A segment of the domestic public has for months been debating the ways in which opposition actors can take part in the upcoming general election, which is expected to be held sometime this year. In recent days, a debate has been rekindled on whether a referendum atmosphere in the election is the only way to beat the regime led by Aleksandar Vucic, i.e. whether opposition parties should directly participate in the election fight or withdraw for the benefit of the future student ticket.
