The lack of an agreement between political actors in Pristina on Kosovo’s new president and a decision by outgoing President Vjosa Osmani-Sadriu to dissolve parliament, which Kosovo’s Constitutional Court immediately temporarily suspended, have shown that the institutional crisis is not over. The inability to appoint a successor in Vjosa Osmani-Sadriu’s place within the prescribed timeframe shows that new parliamentary elections are likely.
