A Tight Agenda
The authorities in Serbia have clearly decided to keep Kosovo and other major economic and political issues on ice during the election campaign, and the opposition is clearly lacking not only capacity, but also sustainable and feasible ideas, to give itself and those matters prominence. Quite the contrary, most opposition parties are very quiet about these topics, while Serbian President Aleksandar Vucic, also at the helm of the ruling Serbian Progressive Party, continues to occasionally give pessimistic statements concerning solutions to the Kosovo issue, indicating that Serbia is unable to resolve it in accordance with the Constitution, which describes Kosovo as part of the country.
