The atmosphere on the Serbian political scene has additionally heated up over the past few days, when both the regime and the opposition held mass rallies in Belgrade, which overshadowed Aleksandar Vucic’s departure from the helm of the Serbian Progressive Party. The situation was electrified further by clashes in northern Kosovo, which served as an occasion for protests of informal right-wing groups.
