Possible Introduction of Lighter Measures

Due to the armed clash in North Kosovo on Sept. 24, caused by a group of heavily armed Serbs, the possibility of certain punitive measures against Serbia is being mentioned for the first time since the change of regime of Oct. 5, 2000. Some lighter measures may be introduced gradually, whereas serious ones such as the annulment of the visa-free regime with the EU should not be expected for multiple reasons.
