One of the most challenging roles in Serbia’s new cabinet is that of Aleksandar Martinovic, the new agriculture minister, formerly a minister of state administration and local self-government. He already feels the heat as disgruntled farmers are again grumbling about the government’s failure to fulfil the promises involved in last year’s agreement with the farmers, who had previously blocked Serbian roads with farm machinery.
