Bosnia and Herzegovina is sinking ever deeper into a political crisis, and the moves of the leaders of the country’s major political parties – Bakir Izetbegovic of the Party of Democratic Action, Milorad Dodik, of the Party of Independent Social Democrats, and Dragan Covic of the Croatian Democratic Union in Bosnia –are complicating the matters further. The latest in the series of these is a Declaration the Party of Democratic Action passed at the party’s last convention advocating constitutional change – the forming of the Republic of Bosnia and Herzegovina as a state of its citizens and the abolishing of the country’s two entities.
