The Passing of a Professional
Dragan Janjic, co-founder and editor-in-chief of the Beta News Agency, passed away suddenly in the night between Dec. 30 and 31, aged 65.
Numerous colleagues, state officials, politicians, domestic and international organizations, embassies, foreign missions, and public figures extended their condolences on the occasion of Dragan’s passing, sharing the common view that he was a great professional, excellent journalist and an unwavering fighter for the freedom of public expression and democracy.
