An Ecological Activist against Environmental Destruction

Ecological activist Aleksandar Jovanovic, also know by his nickname “Cuta,” has been fighting investors who have been destroying the environment in Serbia. He became known for organizing a series of largely successful protests against the construction of small hydro power plants on the rivers of Mt. Stara Planina, in south eastern region of the country.
