Belgrade City Administration official Aleksandra Camagic has over the past several days found herself at the center of an affair the public has learned about thanks to reporters of the Balkan Investigative Reporting Network (BIRN). Camagic, who is among the closest aides of Serbian Progressive Party senior official Aleksandar Sapic, has been accused of taking part in drawing millions of euros from the budget for years, which were awarded to phantom organizations in public competitions.
