Epidemiologist Branislav Tiodorovic said on April 13 that given the current epidemiological situation the life of Serbian citizens will return to normal in June.
“The most optimistic prognosis foresees the reopening of kindergartens and schools at the end of May, perhaps even in June. The universities will follow in the schools’ footsteps, while it’s too early to talk about sports and other physical activities,” Tiodorovic told the Blic daily.
The return to normal, according to the expert, can be expected only when the COVID-19 cases become sporadic and “we are sure that the children cannot get infected.”
When it comes to pensioners, Tiodorovic said that nothing will change for them as they, being the most vulnerable group, have to remain completely isolated, and added that they will be the last to be exempt from measures.
