Minister of European Integrations and National IPA Coordinator Jadranka Joksimovic has released a proposal for technical assistance for preparing infrastructure projects which are part of the Investment Framework for the Western Balkans, worth EUR21.6 million, the government announced on Aug. 18.

Projects in the areas of transport, energy, the environment and social infrastructure were proposed for technical assistance in preparing documentation.

"This is even more important considering that a part of these projects have been nominated for IPA II funds for 2021 and 2022, hence it is critical that we can also compete for grants from the Investment Framework for the Western Balkans for preparing documentation.

The call for handing in project proposals was issued in June and the past several weeks were spent on preparing applications for receiving technical assistance through which Serbia will secure grants for preparing the required documentation and preparing infrastructure projects for their realization.
