Russia's Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov will be visiting Serbia on Oct. 28 and Oct. 29 to meet with Serbian President Aleksandar Vucic and other top-ranking government officials, the Serbian president's secretary-general, Nikola Selakovic, announced on Oct. 17.
Speaking for Prva TV, Selakovic denied allegations of "murmurs" in relations between Belgrade and Moscow, explaining that the visit would have never happened had they been damaged.
The president's aide also said that Vucic had heard from his Russian counterpart, Vladimit Putin, twice, but that the Russian president was unlikely to visit Belgrade due to the health crisis caused by the coronavirus. "I am confident that President Putin will visit as soon as this is possible," said Selakovic.
