Coronavirus Death Toll Increases by 21 in Serbia, 2,813 Newly Infected

In the last 24 hours 21 people died from consequences of the coronavirus infection in Serbia, raising the death toll since the start of the epidemic in the country to 1,030, said the Nov. 16 report on the covid19.rs website.

According to the Batut public health institute's data, 11,493 persons were tested and 2,813 of them tested positive for the virus.

The number of patients being treated for COVID-19 in hospitals is 3,963, of whom 161 are on ventilators.

Since the start of the epidemic 1,519,315 people have been tested and the total number of confirmed cases is 87,381.
