Forty-Three More People Die from Coronavirus in Serbia, 2,559 Newly Infected

In the last 24 hours, 43 people died from consequences of the coronavirus infection in Serbia, while 2,559 new cases were confirmed, according to a Dec. 28 statement.

The statement, published on the Health Ministry website, said that 11,190 people were tested in the same period. The number of people being treated for COVID-19 in hospitals is 9,728, of whom 288 are on ventilators.

Since the outbreak of the epidemic in Serbia 3,073 people have died from the coronavirus, while 328,619 have tested positive.
