14 people died from the coronavirus in Serbia in the past 24 hours, while 1,863 were registered as newly infected, the Health Ministry announced on Feb. 4.
There are 3,994 covid patients in hospitals, 138 of them on ventilators.
Since the start of the epidemic, 402,700 people have been infected and 4,085 have died.
President Aleksandar Vucic announced on Feb. 4 that Serbia would have significant quantities of new vaccines in the next two or three weeks, and urged the population to get the second shot.
He said he hoped the first vaccines from the Covax system would arrive by the end of March, and that agreements with the Russian and Chinese sides would be made public within the next few days, after which Serbia would have 11.5 million vaccines under contracts
