On May 14, Slovenian President Borut Pahor is paying a working visit to Belgrade, where he is set to meet with his Serbian counterpart Aleksandar Vucic.

While visiting Pristina on May 13, Pahor said that he was against changing borders in the Western Balkans.

"I do not agree with changing borders. I want to convince my interlocutors at the Brdo-Brijuni Process summit to continue the enlargement and reform process. That is a historic need," the Slovenian president said at a joint press conference after a meeting with his Kosovo counterpart Vjosa Osmani Sadriu.

President Osmani Sadriu said that the dialogue with Serbia would continue and that important issues would be discussed in that process, except the status and borders of Kosovo because that had been confirmed by the declaration of independence of Kosovo on Feb. 17, 2008.

She underscored that for Kosovo the European integration process was the top priority, that it was part of the preamble to the Constitution of Kosovo and that it was also "the will of the people of Kosovo."
