The Serbian speaker, Ivica Dacic, said on May 19 that government-opposition talks to improve the national election process had to be closed six months before Serbia's next election.
"An agreement needs to be reached before that," Dacic said in an interview with the Pink TV, adding that the purpose of the dialogue was that all involved accepted the proposals.
"As for this segment of the dialogue, it develops very well. We are resuming work next Tuesday," Dacic said. According to the speaker, the meeting could produce some specific decisions. "How to put the electoral register in order and grant everyone the right of access to the electoral roll will be discussed at the meeting," the Serbian speaker explained.
