Nikola Selakovic
Serbian Foreign Minister Nikola Selakovic stated on June 10, at the start of his visit to Poland, that Serbia was committed to the resumption of the Belgrade-Pristina dialogue "as the sole path to reaching a sustainable compromise."
According to the statement of the Serbian Foreign Ministry, Selakovic also recollected the 13 attacks on Serb churches and monasteries in Kosovo and Metohija in this year alone.
Selakovic began his two-day visit to Poland on June 10 with meetings in the Lower House of the Polish Parliament, the Sejm, where he met separately with Speaker Elzbieta Witek and the chairman of the Foreign Affairs Committee, Marek Kuhczynski.
During the talks, they concurred that bilateral relations were traditionally very good and friendly and that there was potential for their further promotion. Selakovic thanked Poland for the support to Serbia's European integration, and reiterated that full EU membership was the absolute foreign political priority of Serbia.
