The production of a Fiat 500L model at the Fiat Chrysler Automobiles (FCA) resumed on June 14 after a two-week break, the Independent Trade Union at the factory said to BETA.
The trade union leader, Sasa Djordjevic, said that employees would continue to work two shifts, maintaining the same production volume of 400 cars a day.
The FCA production staff have been on paid leave since May 28. Djordjevic said that more specific plans for the Fiat factory in Serbia were expected within a strategic plan by the Stelantis company, adjusted to demand and European environmental regulations.
